Dean Brings Back "The X-Files"

from X-Files News by ROI_OLLSON@XFILESNEWS.COM (Erica Fraga - Guest Writer)

According to the latest episode of Dean Haglund's podcastChillpak Hollywood Hour, a new network named Youtoo TV has bought the syndication rights to 60 episodes of The X-Files(seasons 1-3), with rights to the rest of the series to be obtained later.

Youtoo will broadcast the series in order, and Dean will be on hand to share anecdotes and backstories about each episode. In addition, Youtoo will feature a social media interaction section where fans can submit a 15 second "Fame Spot" about a particular theme seen in each episode.  Fans can go to thewebsite and upload their video, which will immediately be shown during that same episode.  Dean gives this example:

If there is an episode about clones, we’ll [ask], "Have you ever been cloned or if you could, would you clone yourself? Why or why not?" A discussion will be started and everyone will be making these little movies and having some interesting dialogue and fun in between watching X-Files episodes.

According to Dean's podcast, Youtoo will be part of the Time Warner cable package, so keep your eyes open to your local channel listings. No air date as of yet, but once available, XFN will keep you updated. In the meantime, catch Dean and Phil every Monday for the Chillpak Hollywood Hour.
