FX has renewed American Horror Story for a second season. X-Files fans may remember that former X-Files writers James Wong and Tim Minear joined the series in August. After premiering to 3.18 million viewers in early October, and with steady gains in the 18-49 demographic, it comes as no surprise that FX is bringing it back next year. Fans looking forward to seeing Chris Carter and Gillian Anderson in the PBS documentary, America in Primetime, won't have to wait much longer. Both are featured in the 'Crusader' episode which is set to air on Sunday November 20th at 8pm ET on PBS. 'The Crusader' explores television heroes and includes shows likeThe X-Files, M*A*S*H, NYPD Blue, 24, Dexter, The Shield and House.
