Gillian Headed to the Emmys?

According to GoldDerby, Gillian Anderson may be heading to the Emmys in the near future. They recently reported a list of candidates that PBS plans to submit for consideration, and in the "Best Movie/Miniseries Supporting Actress" category is none other than your favorite Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson.
As most of you know, Gillian recently starred in Any Human Heart. She played the strong (and sometimes frightening) wife of the former King of England, Edward VIII. Also on the list from AHH are Hayley Atwell, Matthew Macfadyen, and Jim Broadbent. The series itself is a candidate too--for "Best Movie/Miniseries".
Only time will tell who is actually nominated, but for now, it's good to see that PBS has the same confidence that we do for the woman behind the enigmatic Dr. Scully.
